MANGERE THIS WINTER: WHAT'S TAKING SHAPE
We're transforming our community with warm, dry, modern homes, better streets and parks. As winter sets in, there's plenty of progress to share, from flood resilience projects reaching key milestones to new homes completing and construction ramping up ahead of the next stages in Mangere East.
KEEPING MĀNGERE SAFE FROM FLOODING
Flood resilience work is well under way in Mangere East and Te Ararata. The Harania Creek (Tennessee Culvert Upgrade) is on track, and the Walmsley Bridge upgrade was completed and reopened in June 2026.
